Tositsa Gallery

Like many historic buildings in Athens, this one at Tositsa 3 in Exarchia, has had a tough time.  Built in the late 19th century it has had many lives - a private home, a film school, a music conservatory and sadly during Greece’s financial crisis an anarchist squat where it suffered greatly.  Thankfully, the building, which is a listed monument, was purchased in 2021, restored and is now open to the public hosting a show curated by three young Athenian galleries showing works by #AndreasEmbiricos @beatricebonino @alvarobarrington @ceidra_ @marinaxenofontos and others.  And after you’ve admired the art and the building go for a walk around the vibrant neighborhood and find yourself a good cocktail.  Just not a Molotov one.
