This is the Grande dame of Athenian hotels and one to add to your bucket list.  Located across from Parliament on Syntagma Square.  This is Athens first luxury hotel.

One of the city’s best view from the eighth floor bar/restaurant.  Honestly, the food is good not great and a bit pricey.  It’s a really nice place to have a drink.

The main lobby Winter Garden room is an excellent place for a meeting or rendezvous but don’t go if you are expecting any sort of privacy.  It is also lovely to sit at the Winter Garden Bar and have a proper cocktail in the evening.

Insider Tip: The sixth floor rooms facing the square are best as they have generous balconies.  And if you like a big bathroom ask for a room with a double sink.
