Paris Prekas

In 1948 he enrolled at The School of Fine Arts, Athens, where he studied painting under Umbertos Argyros, Dimitris Biskinis and A. Georgiades.

A multitalented artist, Prekas worked in the mediums of painting, sculpture and architectural decor both interior and exterior. The marble relief sculpture featured here adorns the entrance to the national Bank of Greece building on Syntagma Square. The bronze sculpture is inside the adjacent bank branch building.
